Sunny Walk
On Wednesday, Mia and I met up and walk 4 loops of downtown, making pretty good time. On Friday, we walked up through the park and then instead of walking back down the same way we got to the top, we continued on, on the High Drive and came out at Vista and walked back down past the Festival and to the plaza where we were parked. I have been sick for the last few weeks and once this cold or whatever it is, is gone, I hope that we are able to make it even further.

Settling into a routine
This week Mia came over to my house on Monday and played WiiFit. It was a lot of fun to actually watch Pepper crawl around and my girls had a lot of fun playing with her. They also love playing WiiFit so they had a blast showing off their running in place skills.
On Wednesday we walked downtown. We almost did four loops. We did three whole ones and then since I was afraid I was going to be late to pick up Katelin, we cut the fourth loop short by a block. Unfortunately I think Ella was done at the end of the third loop. About halfway through the final loop she was screaming and crying. I carried her the last half of that one and I am shocked at how heavy she is to carry but how light she feels in the backpack. Was a few minutes late to pick up Katelin.
Then yesterday we walked up through the park. It was a gorgeous day! We made it all the way up to the loop road. Our timing had been good, but about 1/2 through the walk back to the cars, I realized that we must have slowed down and that I was running late to pick up Katelin. Not much you can do when you're out and you realize something like that.

Beautiful Days!
Mia and I walked again this week, our downtown route on Wednesday and Lithia Park on Friday. On Wednesday it seemed like it was going to be a nice day, but ended up being a bit cold. We were running a little late, but pushed it and made our normal 4 loops around downtown in less time than normal.
Then on Thursday, Mia was talking with a friend and discovered that we've been going to wrong way once we get to the reservoir (swimming hole). We both had heard that the way we were going is how you can get up to Mt A, so we just figured that was the way, without actually checking the directions. Friday was beautiful, sunny, and warm. We walked the right path and remember where we ended so hopefully next time we can make it further.
