Uphill

On Monday, Mia came over with both Pepper and Daisy. We had cupcakes to celebrate Pepper's birthday and then played WiiFit. On Wednesday we walked our regular 4 loops downtown and then I walked home. Ella fell asleep in the backpack during our walk with Mia and woke up on the walk back to our home and Mia and Pepper had already headed home. She freaked out when she realized that Mia had already left, screamed and cried partway home.
Then on Friday, we met up at the gravel pit parking area at the high drive and started our uphill walk. We walked along the High Drive for a short portion of the walk, then started up the Ashland Loop Road where we walked until we reached the road that takes you up to White Rabbit. We walked up almost all the way to White Rabbit. The road was very steep and walking up was tough, but walking back down on the gravel was just as tough. I think as the weather gets nicer, we'll cut out our downtown walk and just walk along parts of the Mt. Ashland Hill Climb route.
